Cinderella is a 2012 Russian romantic comedy film directed by Anton Bormatov. It is a modernized version of the Charles Perrault tale. The story revolves around Masha Krapivina, who comes to Moscow from Lipetsk to study and work as a maid for a rich family. She has to please the mean-spirited mistress Lyudmila and her two daughters Polina and Ksenia. Masha develops a crush on the famous singer Alexis Korolevich and is willing to do anything to see him at a private party.
